I earned my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Chile. I am a certified specialist in Respiratory Kinesiology, recognized by the National Department of Specialists in Kinesiology in Chile. Afterward, I completed my first postgraduate degree at the University of Chile, earning a Master of Science in Biological Sciences with a focus in Physiology under the guidance of my advisor, Dr. Marcelo Cano.

Later, I earned another MSc in Integrative Physiology and a PhD in Biomedicine from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB, Faculty of Biology), under the guidance of Dr. Oscar Araneda and Dr. Ginés Viscor.

Currently, I am an Academic Researcher at the Institute of Health Sciences at the University of O'Higgins (UOH), a public university in the sixth region of Chile.
